Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta 3 is here for Windows XP, XP x64, and 2003. Find out about the new features--and, yes, there are a few new features--in Paul Thurrot's
latest review!
Some things I've noticed while using it a little while:
* Popups are blocked on sites where I didn't expect it (e.g. while editing this message in Blogger, I couldn't use the Javascript prompts!?)
* A little animated icon appears at the bottom while checking the site for phishing. Maybe it was there in beta 2, but at least I didn't see it then.
* My local bank's website works again. Beta 2 broke all Java functionality with it, even installing the much dreaded Sun Java Plugin and/or JRE didn't help. Now it is fixed.
* Overall performance seems great, IE7 is a really speedy browser, easily beating FireFox which has become a real slow experience in their latest versions!
